We've put it off too long.
After joking and cajoling and threatening for two years, we've finally gotten up the nerve to read and wrestle with House of Leaves. Much to our surprise, we found we both could read it, finish it, and more or less agree about its merits and flaws. Who woulda guessed?

The Dead Blind Zampanò Cocktail
1 shot Kahlua
2 shots (house) vodka
1 Amaretto
Shake with ice; strain into glass. Garnish with white maraschino cherry.
